ABOUT ME

ABOUT

I was born in Benin, a small country on the West Coast of Africa, and raised across Africa, Europe, and the Americas. My father’s work with the World Health Organization exposed me to diverse cultures, languages, and perspectives from an early age—an experience that ignited my love for storytelling and ultimately led me to filmmaking.

Before stepping behind the camera, I spent years as a simultaneous interpreter for United Nations agencies and earned an MFA in Fiction from Wilkes University. My journey also includes a Master’s in Bioethics from Columbia University and a Doctorate in Medicine specializing in neonatology—disciplines that continue to shape my storytelling, infusing my work with depth, empathy, and a nuanced understanding of human experiences.

As a filmmaker, I am passionate about crafting stories with an international soul, blending cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives to explore love and human connection in all their complexity. My work is driven by emotional honesty, authenticity, and a deep curiosity about what it means to be human. When I’m not directing, I’m writing, traveling, or designing interiors—always seeking new ways to bring meaningful, universal stories to life on screen.

MY VISION

My creative approach is rooted in truth, beauty, and emotional depth. I believe in the power of movies to bridge cultures, challenge perspectives, and evoke real emotions. As such, I am committed to shaping diverse, thought-provoking stories that connect with audiences worldwide and addressing a variety of socio-political or drama subjects that are either taboo or not talked about.
